It can be really tough to shoot a buck during a warm spell in November.  That was the case when I finally caught up with this deer.

He was a good buck but a pointed reminder that body size can definitely skew your perception of antler size.

Despite the fact that swirling winds played havoc with my stand location, I was fortunate to shoot this buck shortly before the end of legal shooting time.
