Tom from Iowa asks,
I know you have said in late December and January, when temperature changes sharply, either colder or warmer, the deer will move more. You also talk about cold fronts in October and November. My question is this, if it suddenly warms up in November will dear move more in your opinion?
Bill responds,
Topic: Deer Movement vs Temperature
Tom,
No, I would not say that general tendency holds up during November. It is more of a late season thing when deer are beaten down by many days of cold, a warm front will get them going, but it is the opposite in November. A warm front will generally slow them way down in November. Good luck. (11/22/21)
