Hello Bill, Just wondering will you be doing any trade shows? I know some people in the industry sometimes do seminars or things of that nature. Just trying to plan on making a few trips in the spring and didn’t know which shows you might be at if any. I ask about your land consulting in the past and you said you may do something in the future and I was just checking back with you to see if you have started that yet. I listen to you on The Habitat Podcast recently and it nice to hear your thought again, hopefully that becomes more regular…. Lol I know you probably don’t want that but we can wish. I spent nearly a month up in British Columbia helping a friend at this sheep camp. The first ten days, I helped one of the guides with this hunt: Peter Fair from San Francisco shot this nice mountain goat. I was the “packer”, which meant I didn’t really do much. Peter and the guide were great to spend time with in camp. What a fun adventure.

Sorry to take so long to get back with you. I was up in British Columbia for nearly a month helping a friend of mine around his sheep hunting camp and doing some fishing. I am just now getting back into the whitetail mindset.
The farm I am hunting is all in corn this year so it is hard to get around until the farmer combines it. As a result, I have not been running cameras yet and will likely start in the coming week or two when the corn gets harvested.
There were some really nice younger bucks there last year that I know survived so I am sure I can find something good to hunt. Looking forward to it. We need some cool weather to really get things fired up.
Regarding seminars and shows, I don’t have any on the plan. I will be going to the ATA Show (Archery Trade Show) in early January but that is a dealer only show and not open to the public.
That land consulting business would be a lot of fun for me and right up my alley so I do need to get that going. I have been enjoying the time off but need to get going again on something to keep the bills paid.
I will post here and on my various social media platforms when I have that business geared up.
