The morning of November 5, 2009 was filled with action as two great shooters appeared. The first one had some place else in mind but after he made his rounds he came back to investigate my call. This is fairly common behavior during the rut. The other buck was the 4 year old version of a legendary buck on the farm- the Double G4 Buck. I am sure glad I didn’t get a shot at him back in 2009 given what he eventually grew into! Sometimes when calling whitetails, it takes a while to respond.
