October Trophy: It seems that October is becoming more productive, or else we are just get better at hunting it. Many of my friends have shot great bucks in October recently. In fact, the past two seasons I have shot really good bucks in late October. The buck featured in this episode was a surprise. I had seen him the year before but chose not to hunt him then, hoping he would get bigger as he got older. He disappeared then and didn’t show back up on the farm until the day I shot him.
