While this is not a photo of jerky (I don’t have one of my jerky at this time) it is an example of the value of venison as an awesome source of protein. I think my favorite way to eat venison (other than backstraps on the grill as shown here) is making it into jerky.

No problem. Here is the one I like best: Venison Jerky Recipe. I use a wood pellet grill to dry/cook the strips and pull them out when they are still just a bit flexible.
I think if you plan to keep them for a long time you would need to dry them down more, but we eat ours pretty fast. Enjoy. Good luck. (10/18/22)
