Even though I was hunting this buck, I was very surprised when he came out. The day was very warm (low 70s) and he was the only deer to come out on the small picked cornfield we were set up on. The key to that hunt was moving the blind in to the field the day the farmer picked the corn so the deer just thought it was a piece of farm equipment. He never even looked at the blind when he stepped out. Deer really hit cornfields right after they are harvested and having a blind on a trailer that you can wheel in there the same day is a great benefit.
